Smart Appart - City

Was very easy Everything, clean, warm. Even i found camomile tea for night sleep

Outside on the stairs met us drunk man and didn’t want move. After when we went for walk and came back nobody bothered us. It was one tome experience.

Apartment is very big, clean and the location is central

The area is not very quiet. There was a lady sitting on the door steps talking very loudly on the phone

Really enjoyed my stay at Smart Appart - City. The location is literally at a metro station entrance, and a walking distance to Brussels city center. The room was spacious, with a large bed. I also appreciated having a table with chairs, really a saver if you need to do anything on the laptop. Having more sockets at that area would have been appreciated, but then I found bedroom lamps had 3-way socket adapter and just used that.

I understand it might be something outside of the property owner control, but the spiral stairs leading to the room were pretty narrow. Definitely wasn't a problem as I was traveling just with a backpack, but something to check with them (as they have different floor apartments) for people with disabilities or traveling with lots of luggage.

We were in Studio 1, which was spacious, though the kitchen was rather badly designed (low worktop, you faced a cabinet when leavin the bathroom). Comfortable beds.

We were staying there for four nights, five days. There were three of us. When we arrived, we saw we had just one bath towel each, no more, no less. I asked the host if there was any change of towels or any extras. The answer was no. That meant you had to use the same towel you use to dry your face to dry the rest of your body (no need to specify further) for five days. 3 more towels available wouldn't have ruined the biz. There was a plug without any plastic protecting it (plainly a fire hazard). There was a curtain held up with packing tape. The building’s handrail could use a fix too. You can hear everything and everyone stomping their feet when going upstairs. All doors get slammed, as they are extremely heavy and noisy (so you feel the impact in your own apartment). You are also awakened by random people yelling or partying in the street in the middle of the night. It’s a very noisy street, with prostitutes around. On weekends, the music from nearby pubs doesn’t stop until midnight. The kitchen was not well equipped (only three of everything, again, no more, no less). There were no scissors. There were hardly any tools for stirring, etc. There was an oven, yet no oven trays or gloves to take food out. What’s the point of having a broom if you don’t provide a dustpan to pick up the dirt?
