Chris was in email contact with me and explained the location as well as the means of gaining access. I arrived much earlier than expected, but he was accommodating and the cottage was very clean.
There was only one heating element and that was in the bedroom-sitting area. Berkeley was having a cool spell, and the bathroom (without heat) was VERY cold, as well as the kitchen area. The towels in the bathroom did not have enough heat to get dry in 24 hours, so I had to hang them over a folding chair in front of the heater in the bedroom-sitting area. I ended up putting extra blankets on the bed at night, and hoping my towels would be dry by morning.

very close to town, restaurants, grocery store (safeway). It has a washer and dryer
only a couple channels on TV, but its using an antenna. Bring your own streaming or video entertainment.
