About this house rental
Waitangi River Lodge has everything you need in this large self catering home with views over the Waitangi river and surrounded by rural land where you can watch the pukeko and ducks, or the children enjoying themselves in the kayaks or dinghy provided.
Here you can expect a peaceful holiday.
This home has a large fully equipped kitchen including wireless internet, also seating for 12 around the large dining table.
This flows through into an open plan lounge, adjoining an entertainment room with flat screen TV, surround sound, DVD, all channels on Sky etc.
At this end of the house is the master bedroom with Super King bed and walk in wardrobe, plus en suite bathroom including spa bath, vanity, and toilet.
By the front entrance we have a bedroom containing 2 single beds plus a trundle bed.
Beyond the entertainment room is another 1 x twin with fold out bed in wardrobe, in the next bedroom 2 x twin (these zip together to make a super king) and the third bedroom has a Queen bed.
Upstairs contains a double bed, shower, vanity and toilet, also with lounge area and kitchenette with fridge, twin cook top, tea/coffee making facilities. This upstairs area does have wonderful views of the river.
With two living areas downstairs and separate upper level living (combined with bedroom and bathroom) provides ample space for both children and adults
With 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (all with heated towel rails) for up to 16 guests, this is an ideal holiday home for the extended family or two families holidaying together.
Large laundry available for your convenience but please bring your own beach towels.
The perfect family holiday home, or special retreat for a group of couples and a great place for friends to gather and enjoy a BBQ on the deck, enjoying the river and rural views and magnificent sunsets.
Paihia is only a 5 minute drive away for a great swimming beach, trips out to the Islands, fishing, Para sailing,

This is the second year in a row staying at Waitangi River Lodge, and the second year in a row we've loved our stay. Great location, very large space for entertaining and has all the amenities you need.

Spacious and great grounds. Suggest some additional kitchenware should be considered so that there is full complememnt of various sized pots and fitting lids, good sized non stick pan. Could not find 2nd beater for electric mixer

The kitchen is very tied.
Utensils need a good sort out.
Bbq works fine if you are happy with that you will love it.
Disappointed no tea coffee body wash shampoo or salt.
As a bookabach host we would have expected more.
