About this bed and breakfast
Enjoy your stay watching deer, birds, sunsets, stars, and relax. This is an executive-level home centrally located to New Braunfels, San Antonio, and Austin. Just 10 min to Canyon Lake and Guadalupe River.
This is a Casita (guest house)with a separate entrance) it has one bedroom, one pull-out couch, and one air mattress. There is one bathroom with a shower with a bench seat. There is also a kitchenette with a stovetop.
There are boat and jet ski rentals for Canyon Lake and you can go tubing or canoeing on the Guadalupe River. Other area attractions are Guadalupe State Park, Natural Bridge Caverns, Schlitterbahn, Fiesta Texas, Wimberly, Luckenbach, Whitewater Amphitheater, and Fredericksburg is about 45 minutes away. Plenty of parking
We have a dog run if you want to bring your puppies. There is a 100-dollar-per-pet fee. Our onsite property manager (who stays in the mother-in-law's quarters which are separate from the main residence) will be able to help answer any other questions you might have.

Just stayed for work but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Hosts were very nice, even left us freshly baked cookies that were amazing. Would definitely reccomend staying here if you're in the area.

The Casita was clean, spacious and accommodating. Host were prompt on information and provided clear instructions. This is a great place to stay if you’re attending a wedding at Halls Hollow. Short 15 minute drive.

This was an absolutely beautiful home and neighborhood. The disappointment was being told the property manager who was living in the home would be moved out before our stay. He was not. Therefore the 5th bedroom we thought we'd have (an additional one on the main floor for my mother who cannot manage stairs) was not available. Mom got the master bedroom while the other 8 of our group slept upstairs. Although we thought we had enough bedroom space, we now didn't and needed to utilize one of the fold out beds, which was broken. 2 of our guests slept on the floor with the mattress.
The home was not as clean as previous reviews stated, especially in the kitchen area. All has been pointed out to the owner and he assures he will look into (and hopefully find a new cleaning service).
The amenities state the home is wheelchair accessible. Although the rooms are very spacious, there are 2 steps going into the front door and 2 steps going into the back door. Mom was on a walker, and sometimes is in a wheelchair, so we had to help her with these.
The lighting system in many areas is confusing. When leaving on a light for vision at night, we awoke to the lights automatically turning themselves off.
The front porch is wonderful to sit and enjoy the view of the hill country, or the lighning/thunderstorm which we encountered, or the bright stars on a clear night.
