About this apartment rental
Situated on the farm “Ferien- und Obsthof Müller” in the village of Frickingen, this friendly apartment is an ideal location for activity holidays and only a short drive from the shores of Lake Constance. The 54 m² apartment on the first floor consists of a living-dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, cable television, a baby cot and a highchair (both on request). The shared outdoor area boasts a garden with deck chairs, a playground for children and table tenni for fun afternoons. In the evening, you can unwind with a glass of wine and tasty dinners from the barbecue. A bakery is 130 m from the apartment, a restaurant is 400 m or a 4-minute walk away, a supermarket can be reached after a 6-minute walk (550 m), and you will find a pharmacy an 8-minute drive (6.3 km) away. The closest beach, Ostbad, where you can swim in the clear blue water and enjoy the fantastic panorama, is a 15-minute drive (11.8 km) away, in the charming town of Überlingen. The town’s well-kept park with a deer enclosure has a shady picnic area and a pavilion on top of a lookout with a wonderful view of the town, the mountains and Lake Constance, while the lovely centre of Überlingen, with nice architecture, bustling promenades and a thermal bath, can be reached from the beach on foot after 1.5 km or 20 minutes. From the ferry terminal in Meersburg, a 25-minute drive (20 km) from the farm, you can cross the lake to Konstanz and visit the picturesque old town centre with centuries-old architecture and a famous cathedral. The Lake Constance region offers numerous great hiking and cycling routes through scenic landscapes and along the lakeshores. In winter, you can even go skiing a 15-minute drive (9.4 km) from Frickingen or across the nearby Austrian border. The pretty lakeside town of Friedrichshafen is a 40-minute drive (30 km) away, and Bregenz in Austria, famous for its many cultural offerings, is a one-hour-and-10-minute drive or 64 km from the apartment.
