About this house rental
Molly’s Creekside Cabin, on Lovers Lane (Sonoma Wine Tasting/Biking Getaway)
Recently remodeled, 1350 sq.ft., 3 queen size beds, 2 baths, dining room, large kitchen, with bar stools and fabulous living room, outdoor shower w hot and cold water, bike storage in garage.
The cabin was built in the 30’s for the warden of San Quintin. The warden would bring his prisoners on weekends to build his weekend retreat.
Upon entering, you step into a welcoming living room, with high ceiling, hand hewned beams, and a large stone fireplace. The furniture consists of leather sofa, leather chairs, custom table, art, and antiques. All 3 bedrooms are artfully decorated, with comfortable beds and beautiful furnishings.
The creekside garden area offers a comfortable sitting area, with fire pit, beautiful garden, majestic redwoods, and outdoor shower with hot and cold water.
Molly’s is centrally located. SFO 90 miles, OAK 90 miles, Santa Rosa airport 12 miles. There are over 200 wineries in the area. Places within a 12-14 mile radius, include Healdsburg, Occidental, Jenner, Pacific Ocean, Freestone, (where you find the famous Wildflower Bakery). Within 30-40 miles from Calistoga, St Helena, Yountville and Napa. Taking the back roads, the scenery is so well worth driving to all the above. And, of course, a Russian River beach just a short walk down the road.
It's a great place to escape the hectic pace of today's world.

*In spite of not having air conditioning, our cabin is surrounded by several redwoods which keeps the cabin cool even when it's 100 degrees out. Natural air-conditioning thanks to the redwoods.

Great house that was well stocked, clean and had super comfortable beds. Hosts were amazing with great communication and flexibility. Location was perfect close to town and next to the river. Would 100% stay here again!

Molly's Creekside Cabin was our haven for two days with our grown children, being coddled by our hosts' perfect taste and generosity expressed in the cozy yet ample rooms of the house, the high-quality, fully stocked kitchen, and creative touches everywhere. It was a delight to return to its comfort after daytime explorations along the Russian River and nearby coast.

This is *THE* best house in Guerneville!My friends and I are from Los Angeles and we've never been to Gureneville before - we were nervous about booking a home there not knowing much about where to say in the area. Molly's Cabin was the perfect choice. The location is walkable/bikeable to everything and so convenient. But best of all, the house is GORGEOUS. Honestly, we've stayed in fabulous places in Palm Springs, Provincetown and Fire Island and Molly's Cabin takes the cake. The pictures really don't do it justice - it's better than it looks. Fantastic fixtures/appliances, super comfortable beds, great furniture and little touches really suit both the history of the property and the experience offered by its location: deep quiet woods with wildlife, privacy and serenity. And, the fire pit outside is magical. Lydia and David are amazing hosts - we were celebrating a birthday during our week long stay, and they were so generous with us. Additionally, in the time of Covid and at the time, wildfires in the area, Lydia was so cooperative and really went out of her way to make us comfortable and safe, and to keep communicating with us whenever we had questions. Really first rate service and accommodations. Cannot say enough good things about our experience and cannot recommend this property highly enough. We are all looking forward to our next visit to Molly's Cabin.
