Appartement Mansana - Welkeys

Washing machine - very small drum, could only take small loads. Fully functional kitchen. Large rooms. Balcony. Roller blinds. Close to Metro, bus stop and supermarket. All within very short walking distance. Quiet neighbourhood. Local food markets a 20 minute walk away. Close to the Parc de la Tête d'Or. Hosts communicate quickly.

There is the expectation to pay for late check in. We checked in at 10pm. I am not sure why there is an expense attached to this. The gentleman opened our door and gave us our keys. Nothing more. No explanations or introductions or any type of apparetment discussion. We were not informed aboutnrubbish disposal or the hot water limitations. We may as well have just gotten the keys from a locked box. The hot water system is small and only refills once a day. This was not explained to us until we'd run out of hot water because my child had a bath. When I advised this should be something that is explained, we were told that "usually people dont take baths". When using the shower/bath (for 3 people) the dishwasher and the washing machine, the hot water doesn't last long and there's no way to fill up the heater until the next day. I assume the owners are trying to save money because there's also no way to adjust the heating. We slept windows open on some occasions. The sofa bed wasn't made up despite the hosts being aware of the number of people staying. The Iinstruction manual stated if we're to use the sofa bed the mattress protector needs to be on the bed, but there is no way to fit beddings securely to the sofa bed. Before we arrived we received an email asking us to fill in an itinery of the house. When I enquired further I was told there was no paperwork to fill in. However before we left, we were again asked to complete an exit itinery. When I made further enquiries we were then told the check list was "optional". This lack of clarity makes me worried about how they handle bond management. We received communication from both the company "Welkeys" and the "concierge". I am not sure if this type of set up is usual in Framce, but the convoluted way of organising this house detracted from what is actually a pretty nice property.

L'appartement est spacieux et très lumineux. Tout confort, nous y avons passé 5 jours est c’était parfait. Idéalement situé, le métro à 5-10 minutes et le bus juste devant. Parking privé très appréciable. Bonne isolation phonique. Bonne literie

Propreté du logement et literie de qualité. Proximité du métro (moins de 400 mètres) pour se rendre au centre ville. Parking privatif sécurisé dans l'enceinte de l'immeuble. Bonne insonorisation

L'usage du canapé en tant que lit (pas facile à draper)

Lekker ruim appartement, parkeren is dichtbij mogelijk.

Laat inchecken, vervolgens hebben we meer dan een half uur moeten wachten op het ontvangst van de sleutel terwijl onze tweejarige zoon moe en hongerig was. Slecht begin van ons verblijf. Daarnaast bleek de wasmachine kapot, terwijl we dit verblijf daar speciaal voor hadden uitgekozen. Hierover waren we niet van te voren geïnformeerd. Appartement is koud. Contact met de host verloopt moeizaam. Je hebt namelijk contact met welkeys, die vrijwel niets voor je kan doen. Die sturen je door naar de lokale concierge, waarmee we contact hebben opgenomen over de kapotte wasmachine, maar hij kon daarbij niet helpen en heeft onze vraag toen doorgestuurd naar zijn ‘meerdere’. Maar die heeft niets van zich laten horen. De wasmachine is uiteindelijk niet gemaakt tijdens ons verblijf van drie nachten.
