The hotel’s facilities, particularly the rooms and breakfast area, feel dated and would benefit from a thoughtful refurbishment to bring them up to modern expectations.
Service delivery was inconsistent. A more welcoming and customer-centric approach from the staff would significantly enhance the guest experience. At check-in, I was unexpectedly asked to authorise an additional €100 per night. No clear justification was provided beyond a vague comment about ensuring guests have sufficient funds, which did not inspire confidence.
Breakfast was adequate but unremarkable. It does the job, but it doesn’t elevate the stay in any meaningful way.
Given the overall condition of the hotel and the level of service provided, the price-to-value ratio falls below par. With some investment and a renewed focus on hospitality, the hotel could more credibly deliver on its stated star rating.
