The Location Hotel

This is one of the best inns that I've ever stayed at. All of the receptionists were very helpful. If I had any problem they went out of their way to help me! Unlike in United States for example, where person is treated like a floor towel and refused even basic service because of so-called "policy". Here in Serbia there is no "policy", only treatment for real humans. Honorable and reasonable behavior should be valued highly, because so many establishments lack this in modern time. I feel seen, I feel known, as almost like a brother. My needs were taken care, my privacy and dignity were respected. The rooms themselves are nice, very clean. Some rooms are just bigger than others. Some just have a separate bedroom. Towels, soaps, everything is provided. Showers have a sprinkle head on a hose, which is very convenient for washing the back. There is an electric kettle for boiling tea, and tea bags provided, and also some drinks and snacks. Some people have complained that the pillows are very big and thick, but I like such pillows, because I can hug the pillow when I am sleeping. This is good comfort for a lonely man. The neighborhood Dorćol is very good, very walkable, all stores, restaurants, cafes, church nearby. It is a good place to learn Serbian language and culture via full immersion. All around are historical sites, cultural locations nearby. Only small problem, is that some crazy people vandalize the buildings by leaving graffiti, but unfortunately it's a global scale problem. There is nothing bad about this inn. Some people could complain about lack of free breakfast or lack of other luxuries. Or they could complain that the rooms are plain looking or the lobby is plain looking. But usually such things come at a not monetary price. Like for example in American hotels, everything is beautiful and rich, but no humane treatment of people, bureaucracy, and hidden conditions and fees. Simple is good. Never change who you are to keep up with global trends. About the wifi. I would say that it is good enough for me. Sometimes it did indeed drop or slow down, maybe once or twice per week. But they have multiple redundant wifi networks that can be connected. Sometimes one of them gets disconnected, connect to another one, or wait maybe 30 minutes, take a walk around. I am almost always at my computer, and still I was able to use the wifi for Youtube, programming software development, Google Cloud services, multiple Artificial Intelligences (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude), Viber, Whatsapp, Telegram, Email, Online banking. Both my phone and my laptop worked. I use the Linux operating system. If you get disconnected just connect to another network. But if some people don't know how to use technologies, what is a minor inconvenience for me, it would be a big problem for them. So either learn how to use technologies or don't complain about wifi. Actually this wifi is very good compared to American hotels. Here the wifi is very simple, just network name and password. But in American hotels they have a special portal for connecting to the network, and it is a complicated protocol that my Linux computer does not support, so I have to hack the wifi to get in. Here I do not need to hack anything, it is already open and easily accessible. Thanks for not making my life more difficult than it needs to be.

All is perfect: the location is near the center, the staff is amazing and very willing to help with any information. Also, the accomodation was very clean.

The inn is cheap for its level of quality. The innkeepers and receptionists are very good women, very reasonable, caring, and human who very quickly attend to any concerns and problems. This inn is also very safe, I don't need to worry about anything. The location is within walking distance to food stores, restaurants and cafes, churches, museums, bus stations. The rooms and beds are clean.

There is always a risk of some little mold in old buildings of Belgrade. But the cleaning lady did a great job of cleaning the room, making it absolutely safe.

Jacuzzi had nonhoy water and that was main feature ofbthe room You need a manula to understand how it works. Unless yiu ask for it theybdont give it. Not really bothered You have to request for cebtral boiler to be set up if you want hit water in jacuzzi. And wait… Staff rather absent or “dry”z more publkc admin vibe than hospitality Coffee machine but you have to gonand pay for capsuktes ag 1,5€. Not even one capsule in the room Hotel on basement only so little natural light Wendid not sleep So disappointed we did not sleep there.
