Mas provençal à proximité du Pont Du Gard

The property was very well sized and equipped for our party of 6 adults, 1 toddler and 1 baby. It had several comfortable living rooms with a communal toilet, 3 large ensuite bedrooms (one with an additional smaller room for our toddler), air conditioning (40°C while we were there!), good kitchen facilities, BBQ area including kitchen and additional fridge and a great pool area! There were several different dining areas indoors and outdoors with 2 huge sun canopies to keep in the shade. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery, cups and glasses, cutlery, pots and pans etc, including many more of these at the under cover BBQ kitchen area. They also provided a few bottles of wine for the first night and enough bottled water for the week along with charcoal and firelighters for the first BBQ or so. The high chair and cot were high quality for our little ones with a bed guard provided for our toddler. The dishwasher and washing machine were put to good use and there were many games, books and outdoor game options including table tennis, boule and a small football pitch and several bikes for use on the local bike routes! It was a short, 5 minute, drive to a boulangerie for our breakfasts with several nearby supermarkets for wider food shopping. As a wildlife observer, we saw a pair of foxes hunting most early mornings and late evenings in the field behind the property and saw many birds including Golden Oriole with a Black Redstart nesting in the carport. A bat roosted daily behind a shutter, the Moorish Geckos were huge and we heard and saw many Cicada. It was great to experience such a variety of wildlife from the region.

The location, the house and the hosts were perfect! We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely return.
