The Gallery Boutique Rooms

The location is great - just a few steps from Piazza della Borsa and Piazza Unita, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around. The buliding is pretty nice and the apartment is also nice and clean. The room is of a decent size and there's everything you need there - coffee maker, a kettle, a fridge, AC etc. The bed is comfortable, good thing there are shutters in the window :) I had a very nice view over the square and the roman theatre, so it all adds up to the vibe ;) There was also a quick and efficient communication with the staff, and the place is within wlaking distance to the Trieste station. Overall, a kind of room you'd expect in a town like Trieste ;)

The room is good, but the decor is somehow cold and sterile, it'd be great to add something to make it more cozy and "patinated", i.e. changing the main light for a warmer option ;) Also, it might be noisy, but it's not an issue if you choose to stay in a vibrant spot of the town. I was, however, really dissappointed that there was no iron available at the place. I understand that the owners had bad experiences with guests using the iron, but in an accommodation formatted like that, meaning not a hostel for backpackers, you cannot expect people not needing to iron their clothes. The issue was eventually resolved by the staff, which I am grateful for, but I needed to stay in the room and wait for the possibility to use the service considered as basic... I suppose it should be addressed somehow.

The hosts were so helpful giving us (really really good) recommendations and very kind and helpful overall.

The location itself was good but it is on quite a noisy road.

Great location in Trieste, with a public garage very close by. The apartment is clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a nice street-view balcony. The owners were friendly, helpful, and easy to reach.

The only downside was that the pillows were too soft and thin for our preference.

The location was excellent, everything was close and walkable and the facility was spotless. And while there is no staff on site Sabrina was always available on WhatsApp and answered promptly. The hair dryer, coffee maker, and refrigerator were very handy and worked well. The bed was firm but very comfortable.

The room was very small, we found ourselves constantly shuffling around each other to get from one side of the bed to the other. It was also extremely difficult to find. It's actually inside of a shopping mall. As we had just been on a plane for 15 hours and were very tired, walking back and forth, in the rain, looking for an address that was not visible from the street was extremely frustrating. The main disappointment however was the balcony. The room was listed as having a balcony with a courtyard View which is why we reserved this room. The balcony was actually an extremely small space off of the room where the HVAC units were. There was not Room for one let alone two chairs, and the courtyard view was actually commercial roofs and equipment. To label this room as a balcony room with a view was misleading and untrue, I would not have booked this room had I known it did not have a functional balcony. In fact when I looked on their website again, this room is not even pictured in their advertisement anymore.
