The apartment was amazing, facilities spotless, clean, shower amazing. The taxi service prompt and cheap, ,Bath beautiful, boat trip was lovely. Lots of great bars and shops.A huge variety of restaurants from pizza to Korean, spanish to indian pop upsWe found a tesco superstore in Towbridge about 7 miles drive if you staying for a longer period fully recommend The Retreat. We loved it.
I found it very hot in the apartment but my husband loved it, and the cooker was very high tech ( but lovely and modern) I found it hard to work out even though all instructions were there but that's probably just an age thing on my part but I worked out the hob.

It was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of Salisbury Hill.
Not enough space to dry large bath towels thoroughly .

The decor and space in the apartment was lovely and the apartment felt very clean.
We were sent the wrong information which meant we walked in on other guests, we have received an apology but still not ideal.
The parking that was ‘allocated’ was never once available for our whole stay which meant we had to park further away.
The bed and sofa bed were both very hard and not very comfortable.
The noise from the house above was so loud, we could hear every step of anyone and the dog going up and down the stairs and could hear snoring and talking (unsure if this was from the other apartment or the house above).
The pipes in the kitchen were very smelly when we used the hot water to wash up.
