Beautiful property with friendly donkeys out the back. The owner sends a detailed layout of the appartment so you know exactly what to expect. Owner was lovely as we had a small hiccup with the power and he came over straight away and fixed the issue . Loved the stay

Property is set in a beautiful natural environment, nice living room and glass conservatory. Good value if shared among 3+ guests. Nice and warm, good oil central heating. Loved the donkeys and mountain views!
There was considerable mold and a damp smell in the property. This is not unusual in Ireland but the smell needs to be addressed to make the stay comfortable. Bathroom very small but functional. Second bedroom almost no natural light. Kitchen with very basic supplies, i.e. 3 side plates only. No extractor fan, so cooking not really feasible. We had a minibus with us, the road to the property is small and locals drive extremely fast - not the owners fault but might be a consideration if you are a bit nervous about driving on small Irish roads.
