Please Note: This home will sleep a maximum of 10 people. We can offer the home for up to 8 adults and 2 children. We do not allow sleeping on the floor, on blow up beds, or on the furniture etc. Your group must be able to sleep in the bedding provided.

• Summer Season: From late June through Aug this home must be reserved from Friday to Friday.
However, closer to arrival (4-6 weeks) this policy may be relaxed so please enter your preferred dates to see if they are accepted or contact us directly with questions.
• Holiday Season: Reservations that include both Christmas and New Year’s may not be accepted unless they are 10 days or longer. Reservation arrivals on Christmas Day may also not be accepted.

My wife and I stayed with her sister's family, a total of 4 adults and 3 children, ranging from 1 to 7 years old. Between the two living spaces, we were able to barricade the younger children and give them enough space to crawl around without getting into anything.
The ground floor has a split level, you'll want a pack and play or something to make sure the crawling kids don't hurt themselves.
The house was great! The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials to cook and prepare our meals. You cannot beat the location - it's a 5 minute walk to the beach. The yard is a good size, and the outdoor shower is perfect for cleaning up after hitting the beach.

The property was very nice and being only a short walk to the ocean made our time there very nice.
Our only real issue was the quiet time. My husband played his accoustical guitar in the backyard at 9:30 for 10 minutes on one night as he saw a sign at the door saying quiet time was after 10pm. The management company called to aggressively tell him it was 7pm and to stop playing. He had already stopped but the communication could have been a bit nicer.

Dear Beach-N-Bay Getaways:
Last month I rented your above-captioned property in Morro Bay. While the property itself is lovely, "surprises" when renting a vacation home are usually unpleasant, as they were with this home. I am taking the time to send you these comments in hopes you will correct these deficiencies for the benefit of future renters.
1. Televisions - The television in the non-master bedroom did not function during our entire 3-night rental. I do not wish to recount the multiple phone calls that were made to try and correct this problem. Eventually, it was determined that a cable was missing, and a cable was dropped off at the house. After we installed the cable, the television still did not work. Your representative offered to come to the house to try and get the television working. We declined her offer, however, as we chose this rental instead of staying at a hotel to limit our 97-year-old mother's exposure during the Covid pandemic as this was her first trip in over a year. Confirming all televisions are in working order between guests should be a required item on your checklist.
2. Fireplace - The fireplace is mentioned on at least four (4) occasions and it is displayed in at least three (3) photographs in the VRBO promotional write-up on the property. It was not until after we made our non-refundable reservation and received "Home Instructions" and then occupied the property that we saw a sign in the fireplace instructing that it not be used. We consider this a clear misrepresentation of the property that diminishes its value as a rental, which we suspect is why the promotional material does not state the fireplace cannot be used.
3. Outdoor grill - Both you and the property owner should be embarrassed to be renting a home with the grill in the condition as reflected in the attached photo.. Only 1 of the 3 burners was in working order, the grill was rusted and dirty and the propane tank was empty. This is absolutely shameful. When I asked your representative about this, I was told that we should clean the burners ourselves. When I told your representative and that you have a lot of rentals and do not have time to check everything in every home.
4. Bicycles - Two of the bicycles had flat tires.
5. Sunken Living Room -The VRBO promotional material did not disclose the sunken living room. As we had our 97-year old mother with us, this proved to be a constant safety concern.
