This was our first time to visit the Black Forest from the uk ..Ralph and Rita are excellent hosts and their house was perfect - everything was spotlessly clean- there are instructions for everything ( and everything worked) - when I go on holiday I like to cook for myself - there were lots of pots / pans and sharp knives too- while we were there we had some pretty hot weather 26 degrees c and we sat on the balcony ( which has an awning ) this was a great asset and very comfortable ..there is a really good Local bakery and Ralph and Rita kindly stock some cold drinks / water/ wines and beers that you can buy cheaply - just like you would from a mini bar in a hotel- the clothes washing arrangements were perfect too - there are many many walks right from the door
All this and a welcome bottle of wine on our arrival and a beautiful departing gift made by Ralph himself …
Our every need was met
and we will definately return
We highly recommend Ralph and Rita as hosts and their house too ..
