About this house rental
This 2-story beach home is close to the beach with direct access and a luggage lift. Captn's Camp has gorgeous views from the multi-level decks. The decks have 8 rocking chairs and outdoor dining area to take in the gorgeous view and ocean breeze. This open concept house has a state of the art kitchen, large dining bar, and living room. There are safety gates at the top of the stairs out and a small fenced-in area where the stairs begin to keep the little ones safe and a high chair for mealtime and a pack n play are available. The kitchen is equipped with all large and small appliances, 2 sinks, all the cookware & serving dishes needed to cook and prepare meals. The coffee maker is regular carafe with a basket filter. The dining area is perfect for family meals, game nights with tons of games in island storage, and more. Captn"s Camp's living area has comfortable seating and a view of the loft with the pool table. The impressive slate fireplace rises to the second floor. The half bath is located off of the living/dining area.
The master bedroom with a queen size bed, smart tv, and ensuite bath are located on the first floor. There is private access to the wrap around deck. The master bath offers a combination jetted walk-in tub/ shower that is handicap accessible, as well as double sinks and a higher toilet seat for mobility impaired guests.
The second floor has a bar, complete with a mini fridge and sink, along with the pool table and access to the second level deck.
The first guest bedroom has a twin set of bunk beds and a full-size bed with a smart tv. This room has an attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. Guest bedroom 2, also located on the second floor, has a full-size bed and a full-size bunk bed set. It is equipped with a smart tv. This room's attached bath has a bathtub/shower combo. All rooms have closets. You arrive to the beds made and ready for your stay. The bathrooms have towels, hand towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and 2 rolls of toilet paper. We provide cleaning products, trash bags, dish soap, etc. along with 2 rolls of paper towels and kitchen towels.
This beach house is a short walk to the beach and boasts incredible views of the Gulf. There is an outdoor shower and charcoal grill.

My family and friends loved the house.The common area was great; everyone enjoyed the pool table.The rooms were very comfortable and plenty of room.We will be back

This cabin is the best! Beautiful, stocked with everything you need. Owner is prompt and responsive. Absolutely worth the money, centrally located!! 7 out of 5 stars!!!

My family, friends and kids stayed over July 4th weekend. Checked in Friday afternoon, checked out Tuesday Morning.
Pros:
1. House is beautiful
2. Great Layout
3. A short walk/drive to the beach
4. The covered decks were really nice to have
5. The outdoor shower came in handy
6. Having Wifi was really nice since service sucked
Cons:
1. Lift is pictured but we were not allowed to use it. Would have helped out a lot since we specifically went with the house because I am 7 months pregnant and my parents are handicap. So carrying everything up and down the stairs when there was a lift sucked.
2. There were wood cockroaches in the house. Saw about 6-8 the whole weekend
3. Grill would have been a plus but ended up almost falling apart on us.
4. One of the rooms up stairs took a remote to use fan/lights. We could not find the remote for the lights or fan. They had switches but would only turn on with the remote. We looked everywhere for it and could not find it. Messaged contact and never heard a response from her about it. The people that stayed in that room had to use a bunch of fans and were still hot the first couple days till the house cooled down.
5. Friday I washed my sons bedding and went to put them in the dryer. The dryer did not work and was broken. Directions asked us to wash and dry towels. I messaged contact she said “Im sorry, that will not be required” which was fine. But would have been nice to have been able to dry swim suits and towels since it was really windy and putting them outside to dry didn’t work very well.
6. The handicap room down stairs had extremely uncomfortable bedding and was very scratchy on the skin. (Was not very pleasant with sun burn by the 3-4 day)
7. We were excited to see the upstairs had an ice machine. We used the ice that was in the machine when we got there Thursday for drinks, and after we took the ice out it never produced more ice. Clearly something was broken on the machine.
8. Tv remotes in all the rooms but one didn't have batteries in them or were dead.
Overall we enjoyed our time and would probably book again. Just had a few things that would have made the stay better.
