Everything! Lovely host, very communicative and helpful. We ate at his restaurant many times and the service/food was great. Apartment was spacious, clean and very modern with a great view! Shared kitchen space with one other room but still felt private. We would definitely return. Thanks for everything Stefan

My stay at Darija Apartment in Ohrid was exceptional—the apartment was spotless, modern, and fully equipped, with a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony to relax on, all in a perfect location near the lake and the old town. The area was peaceful yet close to everything, making it easy to explore the city. The host was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, offering great recommendations and ensuring I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Ohrid and would gladly stay here again.

I had the lake facing first floor apartment with a small external balcony and this is the one to go for. It provides comfortable accommodation with a lovely view of the lake. As a single traveller, I used only the large double bed which was extremely comfortable and I would imagine the same could be said of the very substantial bunk beds which would easily accommodate adults. The apartment itself is extremely spacious with really good storage space, though the bathroom is a little compact. The shared kitchen is on this level.
The apartment is located only a few minutes from city square, up a short, but quite steep hill - no problem if you take your time. It is no more than five minutes from the harbour. Communication with the host, Marina was excellent throughout and keys are collected from Instinct Bar & Restaurant. Marina was away but the young guy who gave me the keys, and carried my luggage up to the apartment was equally excellent.
This was my third stay in Ohrid this summer and I have stayed in three different apartments, all excellent. But Darija Apartments offers the best value for money and, if available, I will return next year.
Not a "didn't like" but I would have preferred a kettle IN the apartment.

Central yet quiet location (mind there's a cobbled street leading to the apartment)
Clean and spacious

Comfortable bed (and large!)
Huge terrace door with a nice view
There's a drying rack outside which helps if you want to do some laundry or dry used towels
Very friendly and professional hosts
The room has a different colour now and the chairs are replaced by a small sofa. At first I thought I got a different room from the one I booked lol but no,it's the same room and to be honest it looks better now:)
You can hear the guests from upstairs sometimes
Very few international TV channels
But these are minor things!
