It was a lovely cottage in the countryside and so peaceful. There was everything you needed even fresh milk in the fridge and a packet of biscuits which was a lovely touch. Plenty of room for 8 people with enough seating in the lounge area.
I would recommend the Shippon for a great stay.

A lovely property that exceeded our expectations. It was wonderfully spacious, clean and well-maintained with an expansive supply of kitchenware, glasses and cups; plus some milk, tea, coffee etc. waiting for us on arrival too. There was also a lot of very useful information supplied in the property's folder with details of local walks, activities, beaches etc. (far better presented than I've seen at many other properties). Overall, an excellent relaxing base of operations for our family of four and dog!
Two very minor issues: there were a number of flies in the property, an inevitable consequence of adjoining a working farm; plus the door locks were a bit stiff and hard to operate. However, as noted, very minor quibbles for a property that we would be very happy to stay at again.
