Superb location in the centre of town. Shops at the end of the road. Limited parking, with parking permit, but we did manage to get a space each night when we returned home.
The cottage has very comfortable accommodation. The beds are very comfortable, the living area downstairs is very cosy and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. Also, plenty of books, puzzles etc to entertain yourself if the weather is bad. Smart TV.
Could do with a thorough clean. Not 'unclean' by any means but, for example, the skirting board in the main bathroom was thick with dust. The sinks in the kitchen and the main bathroom need attention (bathroom sink takes ages for water to drain).
The heating was a bit of a faff to work out and the heated towel rails in the bathroom and shower room barely got warm. In fact, the downstairs shower room was pretty cold.

A localização não podia ser melhor, mesmo no centro de Windermere. O apartamento é muito espaçoso, confortável e bem equipado. A cozinha está excelente, prática e completa, e os quartos são amplos e acolhedores. O dono foi extremamente simpático e atencioso, o que tornou a estadia ainda mais agradável.
Uma experiência excelente, sem nada a apontar de negativo.

The downstairs area fire and kitchen as well as the bathroom. Board games and t.v and internet an the location in heart of town.
Parking was really hard, there is not any spaces near by and traffic wardens do walk past and check so unloading and loading the car was hard. It’s not clear where you park at all.
The upstairs bedroom aren’t good for young children as there is a massive step down outside the bedroom doors my 5 year old - I was constantly worried he would fall down the stairs due to being sleepy and the very steep top step. There are two upstairs and one double downstairs.
So not good for little children.
It needs a really good clean, there is food splashed all around the kitchen walls and stains. The sink is dirty, bathroom downstairs mouldy skirting and outside is damp. There is a problem with mould too and u can see where black mould been wiped away.
It needs a deep clean downstairs in bathroom and kitchen.
