House is spacious and comfortable, well equipped and peaceful. The location is very convenient for walking into Bowness and for catching a bus or a boat trip. Excellent local theatre and good range of shops and places to eat and drink.

The house was superficially clean but there were some cobwebs and dust in corners, crumbs in the cutlery drawer and the table and hob were a bit sticky. The outside furniture was dirty and and one garden chair was broken. The bathroom was big and water hot but the shower temperature was difficult to control and although the overhead shower flow was good ,the lower one dribbled, possibly blocked with lime scale.

Lovely rooms, adequate parking for two, so quite.

Recycling bins required, hated mixing all the possible recyclable items. Toaster is on its last legs, dishwasher tablet holder will not close, very sticky table surface, lower hinge on back door coming loose, still felt secure.

Lovely property although a bit dated and old in places. It needs a good revamp and lick of paint. Comfy and spacious and lovely quiet area. Close to main town centre

We did self catering

A bit on the cold side in the house. Did have a small electric heater which didn't put out to much heat and a main fire place in front room which we did get started but still not much heat. They did have blankets to wrap up in, which was lovely
