About this apartment rental
The 115sqm apartment is located in one of the oldest listed buildings in Elfershausen. The renovation of the apartment was completed in January 2020; attention was paid to the use of low-allergy materials. So z. B. painted the walls with lime paint, the floors with organic paint or -Oil treated.
The completed apartment is located on the upper floor and is accessible via a staircase. The non-smoking apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. It has a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a large sunny courtyard.
The large bedroom is furnished with a double bed (1.80mx 2.00m) and a small work station and TV. In the second bedroom there is a bunk bed (2 x 0.90m x 2.00m each). Next to it is the large daylight bathroom with tub / shower and toilet.
The kitchen with a round dining table and 4 chairs is fully equipped, including: coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave and electric stove with oven. Next to it is the dining room with a large table and plenty of space for 6 people. This room could also be used as a study or play room. In the dining room cupboard you will find books and games for young and old, a high chair is also available.
In the 30 sqm living room with stucco ceiling and historic wooden table floor, a large living area invites you to relax. This also offers another sleeping facility for up to 2 more people. The room is equipped with a large specialist TV.
There is also a children's travel bed with mattress and bed linen, which can be provided free of charge if required. Bed linen, shower and hand towels, as well as tea towels are available during your stay. An ironing board and iron are also provided.
Fresh baked goods and a small selection of food can be purchased in the immediate vicinity at the Roth bakery. Here the craft is still maintained and baked itself!
The Poatis Hof, a family-run potato farm, is located right in the village. In addition to potatoes, you can also buy spreads and vegetables in the farm shop.
The restaurant "Ullrichs", about 400m away, offers hot dishes and snacks made from regional products every day.
Elfershausen is located in the Saale valley between Bad Kissingen and Hammelburg and can be reached by public transport (train, bus). From the A7 motorway, exit Elfershausen / Hammelburg, you only need 5 minutes to the town center. The varied natural landscape offers many leisure options, such as: B. Hiking, canoeing on the Saale, cycling, water skiing (Thulba 11km), motorcycle tours, hang gliding or gliding and much more. Right in the village is a tennis court on the sports grounds and an appealing wellness area in the Hotel Ullrich. In Hammelburg, 6 km away, there is the Saaletalbad, an outdoor and indoor pool with a sauna area. Bad Kissingen with the most beautiful thermal bath in Franconia, the KissSalis thermal bath is only 15 km away.

Die Ferienwohnung über der alten Bäckerei ist wirklich ein Traum. Sie befindet sich in einem über vierhundert Jahre alten Haus und wurde fachmännisch und liebevoll restauriert. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, höchst geschmackvoll eingerichtet und für einen sorgenfreien Aufenthalt bestens ausgestattet. Wir waren dort zu dritt (Eltern und Grundschulkind) und wurden von den Vermietern freundlich empfangen, die auch im Laufe unseres Aufenthaltes immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben einen Ausflüge-Urlaub mit vielen verschiedenen Zielen in der Umgebung gemacht und dabei viel vom schönen Mainfranken gesehen, zum Beispiel die Altstädte von Würzburg und Bamberg. Der Ort Elfershausen selber ist sehr ruhig und malerisch gelegen, man hat in der Umgebung viele Möglichkeiten, Wandern oder einfach Spazieren zu gehen. In Laufweite zur Wohnung befindet sich außerdem ein schöner Wasserspielplatz mit einer riesigen Spielwiese, wo wir gerne den Tag mit einem Ballspiel ausklingen ließen. Es war für uns ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt in einer wirklich tollen Wohnung, in der wir uns von Anfang bis Ende pudelwohl gefühlt haben. Als erfahrene "Fewo"-Mieter können wir diese Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es war eine der besten Fewos, die wir bisher hatten und auch die Vermieterfamilie war sympathisch, freundlich und jederzeit ansprechbar. 5 Sterne.
