Die Unterkunft ist toll ausgestattet, es gibt wirklich alles was mich sich in einer Küche nur vorstellen kann. Wir haben die Unterkunft als kleine Gruppe von 5 Personen genutzt um das Festival of Speed in Goodwood zu besuchen. Dafür war die Wohnung schon fast etwas groß. Für zwei kleine Familien eignet sie sich aber sicherlich, da man sich, falls nötig, mit den zwei “Kaminzimmer” sogar aus dem Weg gehen kann.
Es gab noch Kleidung von Gästen vor uns und im Detail hätte es etwas sauberer sein können. Vor allem in den Ecken in der oberen Etage war es hier und da Staubig. Spinnenweben gab es auch einige, aber das schmältest den sonst guten Eindruck kaum.

Was travelling to take part in a 100km ultra run.
Kitchen was more than well equipped, so many utensils.
We spent most time in the large kitchen. Ideal for a group of friends.
Towels provided.
Shower was ace.
Lovely pub on the doorstep.
Parking was ideal, as driveway and road.
Dora the dog definitely enjoyed the garden.

Good size property, good sized beds and bedrooms. Beds were comfy too. Good amount of utensils, crockery etc. Wifi was good. Location was spot on for our needs to explore. Loo rolls, towels, bedding, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cloths, bin liners and basic cleaning equipment etc all provided which was nice. Good water pressure for showers etc. Loads of fridge and freezer space with spare fridges and freezers all powered and on in the utility room as well as the american style in the main kitchen. Ovens and cooking facilities were excellent, more the surrounding furnishings and decor that lets it down a bit. Comfy sofa's, and original wooden floors give the house nice character.
Wasn't particularly clean. Hob was filthy, lots of cobwebs, generally a bit grubby. Towel in downstairs loo not clean. Attention to detail with maintaining the property wasn't great. On rainy days water gets into the kitchen wall, can see that the guttering isn't aligned properly and is causing damage to the kitchen inside wall. None of the outside lights in the garden worked. We managed to change some bulbs in bedroom lamps as they'd blown. Would have liked a frosted window instead of a clear window in the master bedroom-landing door for better privacy. There wasn't any games like described in the listing which was disappointing. Garden not particularly well maintained given there's supposedly a weekly gardner.
We decided not to entertain friends and family at the house for dinner/BBQ as it wasn't quite the environment we had hoped for. Some friends that did visit us echoed our views on the property being tired, though it really wouldn't take much cost/effort to make loads better. 'Welcome folder' was very basic and out of date...
