Olga's villa is a new stony house in the picturesque quiet village of Agalianos in north Rethymno. The house was built with love and creativity so as you can enjoy the spectacular view of Libyan Sea , relax and admire the authentic beauty of our place. Agalianos is a place to connect to basic elements of life, in the company of the Libyan Sea. We were in awe of the remote, ancient feeling of the area, with fine beaches and brilliant sunlight. We hope to return, and if so, we hope to stay again at Villa Olga. The apartment is modern, clean, and provides the essential elements for living comfortably, including its full kitchen, washing machine (and laundry detergent!), and fast WiFi. Above all, Olga and Nikos are the finest hosts: warmly greeting us, providing kind advice, and generously making themselves available, as needed. Since this was our first visit to Crete, we felt comforted knowing that, if a problem were to arise in these rugged areas, Olga and Nikos could help. On each of the days leading to our arrival, Olga was quick to reply to messages and to provide helpful advice for our travels. During our stay, we enjoyed the Ligres beach, but found the Triopetra beaches to be more accessible (better roads) and more scenic. Traveling to the city of Rethymno (for a newcomer) requires approximately 90 minutes, including time to park. For those who wish to explore these wild, ancient places in Rethymno, Villa Olga is the perfect place to rest and feel at home.
