About this house rental
Please note for New Years bookings you must ENQUIRE first before booking as we have different requirements for this period.
Kneedeep is a beautifully appointed, sunny, modern holiday home at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the Heads. Recently completed, this holiday home has been designed to make the most of the stunning estuary views which can be seen from the open-plan living/dining/kitchen, master bedroom and of course the covered deck.
With decks on both sides of the house you can catch the sun and avoid the wind as you please. There is a track which takes you down from the house to the edge of the estuary and kayaks are available for use while the tide permits (approximately 2 hours either side of high tide).
For winter stays, the gas fire place and double-glazing ensure you can stay cosy and warm while watching the tide ebb and flow and experiencing the beautiful sunsets. There is a firepit that can be used when fire bans are not in place but you will need to supply your own wood (can usually be purchased from the local Four Square)
Located in Taimoana Close, a quiet cul de sac,set back from the hustle bustle of Mangawhai Heads, it is only a 15 minute walk to the golf course and Mangawhai Activity Zone for the kids. If you want a longer stroll the Wood St Shops are 25 minutes away or the Village and markets are a 40 minute walk and everything is within about a 5 minute drive, including the surf beach.
Suitable for 1-2 families or small groups of mature couples you're perfect summer or winter escape is waiting for you here - come and experience Kneedeep.

The bedroom which has a bunk set in the pictures has now been disassembled so that it is two singles.
The coffee machine takes Dolce Gusto pods not standard Nespresso pods
LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.
BOOKING PAYMENT: Although your credit card details are taken during the booking process, we won't automatically charge your credit card. Once your booking is approved we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges).

The balcony is the real highlight- expansive view and well protected from weather so you can sit outside and enjoy the surrounds even if it is raining.

This was a Beautiful, super clean and well appointed house with amazing views over the estuary. The kids loved jumping off the little jetty and using the kayaks. The location is perfect with shops, skate park and beach all a short drive away. We loved our stay and wish we didn't have to leave!
