Burlington Guest House

A lovely clean and comfortable guest house with a great location in Whiting Bay. Close to nice walks and beautiful views. Very good bus connection to Brodick and bus stops close by. Everyone was lovely and very helpful.

Beach front location, peaceful, breakfast was lovely, friendly staff

The fact you can’t take your dog in the dining room. The local pub also doesn’t have dogs inside

Parking on street not good. Bit dated.

The room, Town Square, was very comfortable although we never managed to sort the shower temperature out - much too hot!

Parking was road side but the road was very busy and noisy with a great number of heavy vehicles driving through the village at all times. We were most often parked quite a way from the guest house. 'Guest House' does not fit the accommodation. The only staff we saw were bar staff. Unfortunately building works were taking place in the restaurant so we were unable to dine there. Breakfast seemed to be based on builders' requirements, all cooked, there were no smaller alternatives, not even cereal. The best that was offered by a staff member was that she would walk down to the Co-op to buy some. A kind offer but not what is expected on holiday. Our meals - two evenings in a yellow double decker bus, Chinese, the first meal being OK but the second very much below parr. The third meal was at the Linton Arms.
