The house is very well equipped and light. It is situated very close to the sea. We didn't get all the bed linen we had ordered in advance, but this problem was solved quickly by a very friendly girl from Walcheren Vakanties. We were a little too late on the day of departure and the cleaners arrived when we were still there. They were very friendly, made no problem out of it at all and waited patiently in their car until we had left. Great Polish cleaners!

The house and the furniture are almost 100% made of plastic. Even the plants were plastic. This probably makes the house easy to clean and maintain, but it doesn't really add to the atmosphere. The kitchen chairs were very uncomfortable. After sitting on them we found the pattern of their grid in our buttocks. Some of the lounge chairs were also quite uncomfortable. The tableware was all glass, some people may like that, but cups, saucers and dishes were surely too small! Most people want big coffee mugs and dessert bowls that are bigger than a thimble (=vingerhoed). Some dish washer tablets would have been nice. It is striking how expensive holiday accommodation along the Dutch coast is as compared to holiday accommodation in other European countries. Two weeks in a hotel in Greece, including return flight, will cost you less than a week in Zeeland. Still we had a pleasant stay.
