The Cocoonr/Book&Pay agency offers this beautiful, spacious and modern 95 m² flat for rent in Carentan, spread over two levels and able to accommodate up to 8 people! It's located in the heart of Carentan-les-Marais, just 10 minutes from Utah Beach! This family flat has all the comforts you need for a quality stay. Bed linen and towels are provided - we're just waiting for you!
The split-level accommodation is as follows:
First floor:
- A beautiful living room with high ceilings, typical of 19thᵉ century bourgeois flats. It has a sitting area with a sofa, two armchairs and a TV (with DTT, DVD, Xbox games console); as for the dining area, it consists of a large oval table that can seat up to 8 people, placed in front of a large wooden fireplace.
- An enclosed, fully-equipped kitchen: fridge, dishwasher, freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, Dolce Gusto pod coffee maker, Nespresso coffee maker...
- There is also a dressing area and a mezzanine.
- Bedroom 1 with double bed (140x190)
- Bedroom 2 with double bed (140x190)
- Bathroom with shower and washbasin (shower gel and shampoo provided)
- Separate WC.
Second floor:
- A relaxing lounge furnished with armchairs and featuring a toy chest and books.
- Bedroom 3 with a double bed and two single beds.
- A shower room with shower, heated towel rail and vanity unit.
- A room with a WC, washbasin, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The flat is located in a quiet shopping area in the centre of Carentan-les-Marais, perfect for a relaxing stay, full of discoveries about the region and its history. You'll also find all the amenities you need: bakery, butcher, shops, mini-markets...

This is a funky apartment. It has two floors accessed by a super steep and narrow staircase (this would not me a good option for people with mobility challenges). However, the apartment is huge with multiple sitting areas, bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location cannot be beat - it's on the main historic square of Carentan. Fans of Band of Brothers will know the location immediately. My only critique was communication surrounding checking in. It wasn't clear to us 1) where the front door was 2) where to find the key 3) where to park. The proprietor was quickly responsive via text but we had to ask a LOT of questions. I would stay here again.
