Semi-detached house adjoining another rental property in the outbuildings of a manor house. Close to the owners' residence. Ground floor: Living room with fireplace (wood provided). TV. DVD player. Internet access. Kitchenette (cooker, microwave, dishwasher, freezer compartment). Bedroom 1 (1 double bed 140x190cm). Shower room with WC. Upstairs: Bedroom 2 (1 queen bed 160x200cm), Bedroom 3 (1 single bed 90x190cm and 2 bunk beds), Bedroom 4 (1 single bed 90x190cm and 2 bunk beds). Bathroom (bathtub, washing machine and dryer). WC. Private enclosed garden. Shared open garage. Terrace. Garden furniture. Barbecue. Covered shelter. Swing set. Table tennis. Bed linen and towels available for hire. Electric heating is extra (meter reading). Optional cleaning service. Baby equipment (travel cot, potty, high chair, safety gates, and changing table). In the heart of the Cotentin peninsula, near Cherbourg, lies the splendid 16th-century Manoir de la Barguignerie. Two gîtes (holiday cottages) are located in the buildings of the former farmhouse. We spent perfect summer holidays in St. Christophe-Du-Foc.
We enjoyed the house, verandah and little garden.
From time to time we also spent time in the big garden of the Manor.
Our hosts were very nice and helpful and we joined them for baking homemade bread and we received tiny gifts from the garden and a delicious bottle of Cidre.
