About this villa rental
The villa from 1904 is located on the upper, eastern outskirts of Primeglio, next to the church, which was built in the 17th century. Century was built.
The plot is about 410 m² in size and is each about half in front of and behind the house. The rear plot is divided on two levels. The front property is at ground level. In front of the house is a 200 year old olive tree. There is also a single garage, the flat roof can be used as a terrace.
You enter the house on the west side over five entrances and enter a spacious hallway with original restored tiles. From there you enter the large living room with wooden floor on the left and the large dining kitchen on the right. The living room has a large marble fireplace.
On the ground floor there is a small toilet and a large terrace. From the terrace on a hillside you have a magnificent view of the castle of Passerano Marmorito and on several church towers, which shine in the evening from the distance. On a clear day you can see the snow-covered Alps. The terrace is equipped with a permanently installed outdoor grill.
On the first floor are the three bedrooms Olivio, Principessa and Ciello and the bathroom with bath and toilet. In addition, there is another small guest toilet in the hallway. In front of each room or hall is a small balcony. The rooms Olivio and Principessa to the west have antique furniture with generous cupboards. Ciello in the east is equipped with four-poster bed and original cabinet with elaborate wooden crown. All rooms have very comfortable beds. Each room has a postcard view.
The impressive staircase leads to the tower. From this climax, in the truest sense of the word, you have an incredible view of the surroundings: the Montferrat, the Po Valley, the Alps. With good visibility, the partly snow-capped mountains seem to extend around.
The house has an area of about 200 m², with vaulted cellar and lower garden is currently not used.
The place Primeglio is very quiet. Because the district of the municipality Passerano Marmorito has in contrast to the neighboring communities, no through road and is therefore approached only targeted. Primeglio has a small restaurant, which opens on weekends and by appointment. The nearest shops and restaurants are in Castelnuovo Don Bosco, 6 km away. With Albugnano, the balcony of the Monferrat, the 12th-century Vezzolano Abbey and the picturesque village of Cocconato, there are many worthwhile outings in the neighborhood.
In 30- or 40-minute distance you can reach Asti and Turin. The place of the white truffle and stronghold of the Piedmontese cuisine, Alba, can be reached in about 60 minutes by car. It is about one and a half to two hours to Genoa and Milan.

een authentiek huis, rustig gelegen, panoramisch uitzicht.
nog enkele puntjes kunnen verbeterd worden : badkamer is verouderd , geen warm water in de keuken

Amazing spacious and beautiful old villa in the heart of a small en friendly village. Beautiful decorated and fully equiped. The kitchen is complete. It is not modern but certainly has character! What is really special about this place is the beautiful view from the terrace and the tower.
The welcome was warm and the communication and contact was very good and accessible.
Piedmont is maybe not as well known as a holiday destination but there is plenty to do and it is very varied. The area is both pure and friendly. Also are the people, the food and the wine. In addition to numerous mountain villages there are Turin and the mountains close by. So there are plenty of opportunities for activities. But it is also a place to relax and enjoy the villa and the tranquility of the surroundings.
We enjoyed the ten days we've been here and would go right back in no time.
