Excellent breakfast! I had the Scottish breakfast and was very satisfied as it was quite delicious! Friendly staff and beautiful interior and atmosphere. I highly recommend Blackfriars for you next visit to Inversness!
I dont like the fact that we were not able to spend more time there in Inverness! SO maybe nextime we can stay longer :)

From the facilities to the staff, Blackfriars offered us one of the best experiences we’ve had in the Scottish Highlands. Located just a few minutes from Inverness train station, it’s perfectly situated close to the town’s main attractions. The room was cosy, spacious, clean, and quiet—despite being right above the pub. The pub itself offers excellent breakfast, as well as great options for lunch and dinner (plus live music). The staff are warm, friendly, and very welcoming.
The maintenance rooms were just outside our bedroom, so there was some noise from the morning cleaning.

Lovely lady at breakfast.
Room was very noisy, floorboards in the room creaked and I struggled to sleep with the floorboards cracking in the room next door.
