A beautiful and peaceful location. The cottage is very comfortable. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Loved feeding the donkeys. Ballerina geese so pretty. I’m not an animal person. But this was special. Maybe now I am an animal person. Didn’t get to see a platypus maybe next time.
Having to pay gate tax to Trevor and Donkey. Kidding that was probably my highlight. Donkey and Trevor hear the click of the door and are quickly at the gate waiting for their apple or carrot which has thoughtfully been provided by the hosts.

The cottage was outstanding, beautifully decorated, a new kitchen, a super comfortable bed and an idyllic setting amongst a rose garden and lawn with the river running close by. We loved the home cooked bread, the breakfast food and treats, they were a surprise. The hosts were lovely.

Loved the animals, the house was warm and very comfortable. We got to see the platypus in the creek running through the property too.

Lovely cottage, setting and animals... perfect for relaxing and getting out and about in this beautiful part of Tasmania. Owners Kym and Kim made us very welcome, and nice fresh produce as welcome pack for breakfast. But the donkeys, chooks ,ponies and other animals stole the show !!
