We spent a couple of days hiking in Mount Field National Park as the antidote to a weekend of Mofo festivity. Maydena Mountain Cabins was both an easy jumping off point to the park and a cosy getaway in itself. We loved waking up to the mist over the trees and the alpacas in the nearby field. The cabin was clean, well-furnished and surprisingly spacious. Keen to return for longer next time.
