De ligging is geweldig. Leuke (mode) buurt, oergezellig St. Andriesplaat op steenworp afstand, veilig en rustig s nachts.
De inrichting van het appartement vond ik ook leuk. Niet standaard, maar liefdevol kleurengebruik en ingericht. Je "woont" echt even een paar dagen in de stad.
Entree met deur codes ook fijn. Iedereen kon gaan en staan waar hij wilde zonder gedoe met sleutels.
De prijs. Zeer betaalbaar in vergelijking met veel andere appartementen voor gezinnen.
Sanitair en beddengoed waren schoon, maar verder was het wat smoezelig. Stof op plinten en lampen, vaatwasser was vies, doucheputje waterde slecht af.
Ondanks de ventilatoren werd het heel erg warm binnen.
Hoewel het ook een bijzondere ervaring was, was het geschreeuw vanuit de gevangenis achter het huis soms echt beestachtig. Het wende wel, maar wat een herrie maken die mannen.

Perfekte Lage, super einfacher Zugang, perfekter Austausch und Hilfestellung vom Besitzer, schön hell und sauber. Wir waren zu dritt und hatten eine wundervolle Zeit.
Leider war der Geschirrspüler defekt. Und man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass es etwas eng ist, aber das hat keine Abstriche gemacht und macht es sehr gemütlich!

We stayed at "The Pink Pigeon" for a few nights before Christmas. The place was great and the location was perfect. It was very cold at this time but the apartment was warm and cosy. Bring small luggage as the stairs are narrow and steep but the description was clear about this so this is not a complaint or a surprise.

The location was nice.
This was up 3 VERY STEEP winding stairs to get to the door. Anyone with any issues walking or climbing cannot stay here. Even a small suitcase ( check in size) was difficult to get up. Once up, there were two bedrooms with a toilet and sink room on one side of the hall and the shower on the other. The only other toilet ( no second shower) was up another set of narrow steps to the living area—this is NOT a two bathroom apartment but a bath and a half. There also was no air conditioning which might have been ok but the open windows brought in flies and bees.
