This was an amazing accommodation. It was so bright, welcoming, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out in the garden and also it was such a pleasure to have a safe secure location to park the car while we visited the town and area. Being so close to everything made it fun to explore. The bathroom was lovely and so large and clean. Claire was a fantastic and friendly hostess, checking in and making sure everything was going well.
This is one of the best places we have ever stayed and there is nothing we didn't like.

Location top notch. You can easily walk to heaps of food options, bars and supermarket plus abbey. Unfortunately tapestry is being renovated at present. Accom is great. Plenty of room. Comfortable bed. Lovely huge garden to sit by. Free parking.
Just one tip. When parking drive car in forward ... dont reverse like we did. Much easier to drive in and turn around once in.

That it was self contained and off street parking.
It was quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable.

The price was quite good. I can see why some people would like it…price can be everything. 🙂 The property is older as in vintage with a nice yard& pretty vegetation. The main house is vintage, the rental unit attached is more like a Mobil home. The owner Claire is very nice. The house is right next to ( actually practically in) the very nice town. It is very close to Omaha Beach -30 minutes and 1.5 hours from Mont San Michele. Very good location for the sights.
The road work made it almost impossible to get to or leave the property. The property was not overly clean. The bath towels were like sandpaper and you received 2 medium towels each for the week. The furniture was old and the couch in the bedroom had a blanket draped over it as it needed bad reupholstering. The carpet/rug in the living room was dirty as were some of the dishes in the cabinets. There were open bags of flour and very old oils in the kitchen cabinets & on the shelves. The bedding looked old and was a mauvish color. No nice white sheets in this house. Overall a bit dingy and definitely not fresh. Appliances were minimal.
