Tenuta Moriano

Everybody who worked there was the kindest. They really went above and beyond, and went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable, literally and figuratively. Very, very grateful for these people, We were some underprepared travelers and they really helped us out I will be recommending them to every person that I hear going to Tuscany, Really appreciate you all, You made our trip ❤️

Het is een locatie die erg mooi gelegen is en waar je helemaal tot rust kan komen. De tijd heeft hier even stil gestaan. Mooi zwembad, veel natuur en mooi uitzicht. Appartement met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers, 1 huiskamer keuken. Buiten leven is dan wel fijn. Ontbijt was prima maar eentonig.

De locatie ligt erg afgelegen, dichtbij zijnde dorp is ruim 4 km door het bos met erg slechte en steile weggedeelten. Dus bij een actieve vakantie is dit mogelijk geen geschikte uitvalbasis. Werd ook veel gebruikt voor een of twee nachten voor mensen die op doorreis zijn.

Obiekt z dala od zgiełku miasta. Przestronny, urządzony w toskańskim stylu. Śniadania skromne ale bardzo smaczne. Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce.

Płatne ogrzewanie (byliśmy w pierwszej połowie maja i było dość chłodno w apartamencie). Bardzo słaby zasięg WiFi. Droga dojazdowa dość kręta i momentami trochę stromo.

From the moment we arrived at Tenuta Moriano, we were impressed by the size of our rental unit and the overall property. The estate offers several rental units, a large swimming pool (though it was still a bit too cold to enjoy during our stay), and is set in a beautiful, peaceful location. The entrance to the property is charming and well-maintained, and the on-site wine tasting facilities add a special touch to the experience. The location is also excellent—it's easy to reach Florence, Pisa, and other popular destinations in northern Tuscany. All in all, we’re giving this part of our stay the highest rating!

However, like many places, our stay had its downsides. First, the breakfast: while the initial basket (with cheese, prosciutto, bread, and milk) was very welcome, we received the exact same items every day. A little variety would have gone a long way. Next, the maintenance of the unit. We stayed in the poolside accommodation and had several issues—most notably with hot water, which barely worked due to heavy calcium buildup in the faucets. Every faucet was loose, especially the one in the kitchen, and this became very frustrating. The shower in the master bedroom also lacked a basic shelf to hold soap or shampoo—the old plastic one was broken and never replaced. The laundry facilities were another issue. Located outside in a shared shed (a smart concept), there were only two small washing machines for the entire property, which meant they were almost always in use. Plus, with instructions only in Italian, many English-speaking guests (like us) had trouble figuring out how to operate them. Lastly, every unit came with a BBQ, which is a great feature—unless it collapses, as ours did! Thankfully, no one was hurt and the BBQ was quickly replaced with a new one, but it could have been dangerous. In short, Tenuta Moriano is a beautiful property in a great location, and we did enjoy many aspects of our stay. But for the price tourists pay, we believe the experience should come with a bit more care and attention to detail.
