About this villa rental
Morleschio is a cosy stone villa near Perugia in the beautiful Umbrian countryside. The lower floor sleeps up to four people, it’s suitable for either a small family or a pair of couples on a break together. The two-bedroomed cottage is decorated in a homely style, with exposed stonework, wooden-beamed ceilings and parquet floors adding lovely traditional touches. Outside, there’s a private terrace, complete with barbecue. The upper floor of the villa is reserved as the owner's family holiday home and they may occasionally use the pool.
From the sun loungers around the poolside, you’ll be able to enjoy wonderful views of undulating farmland and distant hills while soaking up the sun. But this is also a good base for exploring the nearby area and you should get out and about. Villages with shops and restaurants are within 10 minutes’ drive, and it’s an easy 15-minute journey to the beautiful city of Perugia. Here you can explore its historic centre and dine with the locals while still having time for a nightcap on your terrace.
Lying on a sun lounger, with the scent of lavender, basil and rosemary in the air, and the green Umbrian hills rolling out beyond the boundaries of the garden, you’ll really appreciate Morleschio as a spot in which to truly relax. We love the homely nature of this traditional style villa, a very comfortable place to holiday. You’re sure to find a cosy corner to make your own – down by the pool or on the shaded terrace, an ideal spot for taking your time over a light lunch or a long evening dinner.
