Fonte Pecciano 1856 is located on a hillock at over 300m. s. L.M. in the land of the three lakes just 5 km from Lake Trasimeno and Castiglione del Lago and close to both the nature reserve of Lake Chiusi and Montepulciano. Close to medieval Tuscan villages known all over the world for their beauty such as Cortona, Montepulciano and Pienza, it is the ideal starting point to undertake daily excursions to Siena. Not to mention the beautiful Umbrian cities such as Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Orvieto.
The farmhouse from the mid-1800s in a borderland between Tuscany and Umbria, was renovated in 1992 and improved in 2012 and subsequently by the new owners in 2015.
The works carried out with love for the traditions of the place and keeping the style of the building intact allow us to appreciate the various manufactures of the Sienese and Umbrian architecture that clearly characterize the construction phases of the entire structure over time. The farmhouse is divided into three apartments, all with triple exposure with independent entrances and parking near their entrance. The well-kept garden, the reserved corners, the terraces invite to enjoy the surrounding landscape, perhaps after a day spent in the nearby villages or practicing one of the many sports that the area has to offer.
Hospitality and hospitality are one of the aspects that the owners take great care to complete the relaxing experience that this place offers by converting your stay into an unforgettable holiday.
La vite is a typical rustic-style apartment on the first floor of the farmhouse. In the living area we have a large American lounge with an ancient fireplace, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, while the sleeping area consists of two bedrooms (one double and one twin) each with private bathroom with shower. Internet connection and availability for the books of the small library to the sharing book. The large garden, with a 360º view of the Umbrian countryside and glimpses of Lake Trasimeno and Castiglione del Lago, offers several relaxation areas, such as the swimming pool, a shaded area for reading or resting, the space of hammocks in the shade of pine trees seafarers or the large veranda (30sqm) where you can chat in the small living area or dine. Possibility of making barbecue. The property borders on a reserve and is not fenced therefore there is the possibility of spotting pheasants, roe deer, foxes, hares etc. maybe taking a nice walk in the surrounding countryside among beautiful olive trees. The apartment is fully equipped, sheets, towels, hairdryer, dishes and cookware, a small welcome courtesy basket for breakfast on the first day. The owners live in the farmhouse therefore for any need or information they are always available.

Schönes Anwesen, ruhig gelegen, beeindruckende Aussicht, toll gestaltete Gartenanlage bis hin zum Pool, der zum Relaxen, lesen, abkühlen an den heißen Sommertagen einlädt. Die Wohnung ist schön groß (zwei Bäder) und absolut liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, so wie man sich eine Wohnung auf einem Anwesen in Umbrien vorstellt. Die Vermieter leben mit im Haus, Simona ist sehr nett und stets bemüht zu helfen, immer per WhatsApp erreichbar. Der kleine Hund Nihal war schnell unser bester Freund. Die Lage des Hauses ist günstig, denn man kann von hier aus mit dem Auto alle interessanten Orte Umbriens innerhalb einer Stunde gut erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen erholsamen Urlaub.
