This was absolutely phenomenal. We adored the complimentary breakfast each morning with an insane view of Amalfi. Columba was the kindest, most helpful, and friendliest host I have ever had. We miss her already!
The bed and breakfast is tucked above the city, so you do have to walk a good ways or take the bus to get to the main shopping and dining area, but this is made clear in the listing and the views were more than worth it for us!

Colomba was a wonderful host who offered us warmth, information, laundry services, freshly made cake for breakfast (she wakes up every morning and makes different homemade cakes). Her stairs are daunting, but that's just life in Positano. There are stairs everywhere. We learned to love them, as they helped us burn off our indulgences after every day. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, and I would say it's likely one of the best views the city has to offer. While it feels far from the beach, it is less than a 5 minute walk to the bus stops, and it only took us 12 minutes to descend the stairs every day. It was the perfect location for travelers who aren't afraid of a little walk.
The bed started to cause us some pain after our 3rd night of 5, but our initial impression was fine. The shower in the single room was rough. There was no shower curtain, and the hot water was very hit or miss. We did our best to keep our showers under 3 minutes because of this. I did take a bath one night, and I would recommend that if you'd like to treat your muscles after days of stairs.
