Great location -lots of lovely bars & restaurants which were child friendly.
Comfortable beds , very clean
Easy check in / check out
Upstairs were quite active ( possibly young children) quite early in the morning & sound came through & was disturbing. But unavoidable in a flat - just slightly ironic that it’s made very clear to be considerate of this in the rental property !

The fact that we met the landlord accidentally on arrival and could ask odd questions
The place is a bit frugal. No rugs, no shelves, nowhere to put wash bags in bathrooms, no hooks to hang towels, too obviously not "lived in".

Great position for exploring Edinburgh. Fantastic to have a 4 bed apartment to share.
No hand towels in kitchen. Only 1 tea towel. Cover front of washing machine falling off. No dishwasher. Freezer completely frosted up. Bath towels were very thin. Toiletries were meagre. No anti slip mat for the bath/shower. Could have done with a new lick of paint throughout. Carpets in hallway dirty and ruin first appearance. No hanging space in 2 bedrooms - could have used one of the cupboards if it had a rail. Couch far too close to tv - poor arrangement.
