The location of this grand old home is perfect. Able to walk the lovely streets of Battery Point and see all the other historical homes. Close to shops and cafes and the famous Salamanca Market. Grand Vue Hotel is special and the owners are lovely and helpful. The bed is super comfortable and the views are magical! The shower is really nice too. Having a lovely afternoon tea of cake or biscuits each day is a really nice touch. Highly recommend and we would stay again.

This guest house is extremely beautiful filled with personal antiquities that give it so much character. Designed with a European touch to it, this accommodation is rather a special gem that complements the landscape that Hobart has to offer. The host that welcomed my daughter and I was Ashley, and he radiates so much warmth and kindness, making it feel like family was welcoming you into their home. They also offer unlimited pastries and snacks that you could have throughout the day, which I think was such a special thing to prepare for guests. The views from every corner is also absolutely gorgeous, giving you peace and tranquility no matter the time and season. Will surely come back with my family as the location (a 10-minute walk to the city centre), the host, and the overall feel is just superb!
