We really enjoyed staying at ibis, notably for its location! Our room was great, fantastic shower pressure and clean. Such a treat to have a sauna, pool and gym! Staff were also very helpful and kind :) Honestly couldn't ask for more, we would totally stay here again.

Queen standard room. Facilities excellent. Would have expected the option of casting to the smart TV to watch Netflix etc but this is not an option. Pool, sauna, dining and gym excellent. Shower - the best!!!

We recently stayed at the Ibis in Hobart and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is well presented, with the foyer and hallways clean and maintained to a high standard. One standout feature was the swimming pool — it’s incredibly large and definitely a highlight of the stay. We booked two queen rooms, which were nicely styled but quite tight on space. It did feel like a bit of room could have been taken from the oversized pool to allow for more comfortable movement within the rooms. One small disappointment was the lack of complimentary water. You would expect this to be standard in most hotel rooms, however only milk was provided. We also had a few interactions with reception staff during our stay. While all staff were friendly and welcoming, there were several instances where our requests were misunderstood or processed incorrectly. For example, we arranged breakfast for all family members staying in our rooms the night before to receive the discounted rate at the restaurant, however only one breakfast was actually booked. This was a little frustrating and something that could be improved with clearer communication. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay, with a few areas that could be improved to enhance the guest experience.
