Great location (stunning views from the roof!), comfortable room with lots of character

I received very clear instructions on how to get to the accomodation with my luggage. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the view from the accomodation was stunning . Would definitely stay again.

Unbeatable rooftop balcony with magnificent views. Location in Manarola is perfect. Breakfast was special on the rooftop balcony. On site staff were lovely and helpful and guided us on the best walk for us - the walk to Corniglio is fantastic but you need to be pretty fit - lots of steps up and then down again.
Use the train to get around Cinque Terre, it's simple and quick.
Room was small, probably in line with most in Manarola.
Danilo did not send our welcome message until after we arrived, meaning that we didn't know about parking or access to the property - frustrating after a long drive. We were also unaware that you have to push the suitcase for 15 minutes down the hill and then up again the following morning. Quite a workout! There is a bus service but it's not frequent.
There were builders working right outside our window when we arrived who thankfully stopped at 4pm but then restarted at 8am. Noise and loss of privacy was problematic.
Bed had a cheap sponge mattress which meant we graduated to a hole in the middle during the night.
At €35, breakfast was not cheap. Paying for the view I guess.
