About this house rental
Welcome to our beautiful stone house! Former barn entirely renovated and equipped, the Grange Madeleine is situated on a large landscaped garden of 1700 m² with a beautiful private swimming pool.
You will feel at home in this authentic, comfortable, fully equipped and tastefully decorated house.
It is ideal for a family of 4 people (baby bed possible), and is spread over 3 floors :
- A ground floor with a sitting area, an antique stove, TV and a fully equipped open kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher for 6 people, oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster).
- The first floor with the master bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet.
- The second floor on the mezzanine with two single beds.
The house is equipped with reversible air conditioning, Wifi, and the stairs are secured.
You can also enjoy the shaded terrace with a barbecue, the children's playground, the petanque ground and the secured swimming pool 8m by 4m.
The Caverne du Pont d'Arc (Chauvet) is 30 minutes away by car, and the nature reserve of the Ardèche Gorges (largest canyon in Europe) is 40 minutes away.
Numerous activities within 10 minutes by car will allow you to discover a magnificent region: canyoning, canoeing, kayaking, climbing, horse riding, speleology, motor sports, hiking (Bois de Païolive).
In addition, an Ardèche wine tasting cellar is located just opposite the house and the picturesque villages in the surrounding area offer traditional markets (Barjac, Les Vans, Ruoms).

We had a fabulous time, the house had everything we needed. Fantastic big enclosed garden, great for our golden retriever! Although we felt that it needed a bit more TLC, sweeping of leaves and cutting of the grass beyond the pool. A maintenance man came once a week to clean the pool. In between the cleans leaves did form at the bottom of the pool which I would have been happy to clear but the net was locked away. However, It wasn’t a big issue. The location was perfect, very quiet, surrounded by mountains. We would definitely recommended staying here, thank you.

The house is perfect for a small family but it has to taken onto account that there are no separate bedrooms. The garden and the pool are great and the neighbourhood is friendly and quiet. The house is fully furnished and perfectly equipped. Negatively I would mention that WLAN is not stable and that 2 (out of 4) of the pool loungers are kind of broken and need to be replaced.

We had a great time in Grange Madeleine. House was clean and fully equipped.
Weather was very hot, so we loved the private swimming pool very much.
Te garden is very big and enjoyable. And there are a lot of beautiful places to visit in the neighborhood .
Perfect place to stay with a dog if he/she is not very eager to escape (our dog is not).
We will never forget the call of the pygme owl that we heard every evening….
