Hotel Diana

Hotel Diana is beautiful and seemingly very new. Our room had stunning views of Lake Garda and the bustling bars only a short walk away. The staff were super helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent quality too.

Whilst the hotel shows air conditioning, we could not switch on or adjust the temperature, it was 24C in our room and staff told us that the owner maintained control of this and they were unable to make any changes themselves. We had to leave the patio doors open in the night to try and cool the room which meant we could hear the loud noise from mopeds and bar music late into the night. This wasn’t really acceptable for such a potentially lovely and not inexpensive hotel. Whilst the bathroom was beautiful, design was flawed with shower and toilet quite close and the splash zone leaving the floor pooled and wet for subsequent use, the bathroom window was so high it was impractical to open to provide added ventilation. Whilst Hotel Diana is super clean and aesthetically stunning, it appeared that some things had either been hurried or left unfinished; the veranda tiles clunked as they had not been cemented down or grouted, and the glass partition screen between on our balcony had disconnected from the balcony rail and scarily moved in the high wind.

Tolles modernes Zimmer, schickes Badezimmer. Supernettes Personal, sehr hilfsbereit. Das Highlight ist jedoch die Lage und das Roof-Top mit einer sensationellen Aussicht. Zu Fuß ist man in 5 Min im Zentrum. Nur zu empfehlen :-)

Wenn es überhaupt was zu bemängeln gibt, dann vielleicht die chaotische Parkplatzsituation am Hotel, weil jeder direkt vor dem Eingang parken möchte. Eigentlich gibt es jedoch weitere Parkplätze am Berg weiter oben...

Very Very Clean and Very very modern décor /design

Air Con could be better

We were given a 3rd floor room on the side of the building which meant we had a mountain & lake view! Also no other balconies over looking us. Staff were really friendly & room was clean. The location is perfect for super short walks in to town & right next to bus station.

There was no air con (which we knew before we left) there was a fan but during a heatwave this didn’t help. Rooms could do with an upgrade. Would also be great if they added tea & coffee facilities in the room. Bell tower sounds at 8am every morning…. Be warned if you’re looking for lie ins!
