Checking in time quite late at 17.30. Space inside quite tight as I walk with a crutch.

Good location near to many places to eat. Very friendly staff. Good comms on the day of arrival via phone messages.
The room didn’t feel particularly clean as there was a musty smell. The carpet in the room was pretty horrible. Completely worn. Bar / restaurant was closed at 9pm.

We enjoyed our stay in this centrally located hotel - Thank you.
We really appreciated the secure parking for our motorbike, and the owner was extremely helpful in making sure this was easy to find.
The bed was lovely, the room fine, and we had a lovely breakfast in the bar area.
The shower cubicle in our room really needed a good scrub! The rest of the room was clean and tidy.

I have no idea why this hotel scores an '8' on the booking.com website. It is in need of a good refresh to be honest.

"Excellent location just off the main centre square - 2 mins walk away but quite at night time. Parking right across the road (free after 6 pm). Really well priced too."
