very comfortable bed, room overall very comfortable, great bathroom facilities and ground floor level which suited us. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable for what we wanted, the restaurant next door the evening before was exceptional - was not expecting that level of cuisine/staff overall quality and ambience, cannot recommend highly enough.

For what we paid it was excellent value for money and a lot more personal that we expected.

Ease of location

Nothing, simple and clean

The hotel has a lot of rooms and was able to accept a very short notice booking for me and a dog. The room was very clean and accessible from outdoors (useful for dog) and very convenient for the motorway. Good breakfast, and the restaurant next door was very good (also able to accommodate dog). I know I'm going on about the dog, but in hot weather you can't leave it in the car and you also can't leave it in an unfamiliar hotel room!

The room was hot - went up to 30 degrees in the end, but perhaps that's because I didn't find the AC controls intuitive and there is no guidance that I could see. The switch is marked in French 'summer' and 'winter' but I wasn't able to understand what that did. So we were hot! The location is pretty poor for dog walks - pavement only, hardly any greenery. You're effectively on a roundabout.
