About this villa rental
Villa Ammiraglia
Beautiful stone villa, built in the 60s, surrounded by a private park of 10,000 sq. Meters with swimming pool, completely renovated, located on the promontory of Ansedonia, in an excellent panoramic position, just a few steps from the beach of Feniglia where there are some elegant bathing establishments as well as 7 km of unspoiled free beach.
Behind the beach there is a beautiful park / nature reserve (typical Mediterranean vegetation and tall trees), which extends from the Orbetello lagoon to the beach.
In the park you can take long walks in the shade of pine trees, rent bicycles, go bird watching, and it is not unusual to come across groups of beautiful fallow deer living in the reserve.
A few meters from the villa there are also the remains of the city of Cosa, an archaeological site of international interest, included in the Unesco heritage, where you can admire the ruins of an ancient Roman city dating back to 273 A. C.
In addition, during the summer, outdoor theater performances are scheduled at the archaeological site.
A few kilometers away is the pretty town of Orbetello, with its lagoon that can be visited by boat on tours organized by the cooperative of fishermen working in the lagoon (they also have a picturesque restaurant on the water where you can taste typical local products ).
Making a few kilometers more (but still within the range of 5 to 40 km you can get away from the sea to dive into the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, to visit places like Capalbio (famous for the summer film festival), Scansano (renowned for its Morellino wine), Manciano, Pitigliano, the famous spa of Saturnia, the extravagant Tarot Garden (architectural work and park of the famous French-American artist Niki De Saint Phalle) ... and much more, just consider that with an hour by car you can reach Siena, with 30 min you can reach Grosseto and Rome can be reached by car or by train in an hour and 15 min.
The villa is in a privileged position overlooking the bay of Feniglia, with a beautiful sunny day from the terrace you can also see the island of Giannutri and the island of Giglio.
To visit the marvelous promontory and its coves with turquoise and crystalline water, we also have the possibility to combine the villa with the rent of private sailing and motor boats (with or without skipper).
the island of Giglio can also be reached by a ferry leaving from the nearby port of S. Stefano and in 40 minutes reaches the destination.
What else to say? The place is full of attractions waiting to be visited!
In addition, eno-gastronomic routes are suggested to taste the fine Tuscan wines and the typical cuisine based on fresh fish or fine meats (such as the Fiorentina steak).

We loved the house and all its amazing features! Air conditioning in the rooms and the gorgeous pool were a real blessing in the August heat. The views and sunsets were far more spectacular than advertised. It’s a super property with real character and everything was as one would like it to be.

We stayed for a month and just loved it. Like living in someone's home. Never felt like a rental and had everything you could want in a rental.

We had a great time at the villa, enjoying the beaches nearby, the large pool and the comfortable terrace. The villa has everything you need to have a relaxing holiday, including facilities such as barbecue, washing machine, dish washer, wlan, etc. Love to come again here.
