This is the second time I have stayed at Villa Merry. It is in the Famagusta region, and very quiet. Everything is there that you need. My friend and loved the privacy and having our own pool. Ayia Thekla Supermarket is a couple of minutes drive, and Metro Supermarket is about 20 minutes away. Go to Metro for great cuts of meat and fresh produce!
Beach at Sotira is well worth a trip if you want peace and quiet.
Would highly recommend Villa Merry. We hope to return in October.

Nice location, clean and well equipped villa, good for 2 families.
You need a car to visit any place around. The noise from the highway is annoying but acceptable.

The Villa itself is exceptional, good facilities, well equipped, the pool is a bonus, it’s just a shame the weather was not hot enough to warm up the water in the pool
The towels smelled and seemed to be dirty. When we left the villa for a day, on our arrival back we have noticed somebody had played with the key holder safe code, which means somebody tried to enter the villa, which I found very concerning. Also, one of the days during our stay a pool guy popped in without any prior notice, which is also concerning, as we require privacy, and I had just gotten out of the shower wrapped around with a towel, which barely covered me.

Villa is spacious inside and more so outside
We were there off season in December during Corona times and you could tell the house was not used for a long time.
During high season you are outside most of the time so you probably would not notice so much but inside the house is not comfortable. The couches are impossible to sit on without contracting a hernia and the beds are ok-ish. A lot of effort to get heating or hot showers. A lot of cats and inside and outside smells of cat pee.
