Staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful. The bar area were you eat was just so vibrant and bright, a pleasure to be in.
The bed could have been more comfortable. We stayed in Room 1 and the mattress wasn't flat which did affect my sleep. Maybe a new mattress. Parking is an issue, it wasn't for us because we were totally ok with the 7 minute walk

The room was comfortable and the shower room/toilet was good. The hot chocolate sachet was a welcome addition.
I had a ground floor room. When I arrived the window had been left slightly open. Unfortunately, people were smoking right outside my window, so there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. For dinner, I ordered the 'five bean burger' and specified that I have an allergy to vinegar. The waitress came to check my dietary requirements, but when the meal arrived, there was a pot of slaw which included mayonnaise - which is made with vinegar. Also, the 'five bean burger' was actually something resembling overcooked felafel - definitely not a 'five bean burger'. Another in my group ordered the same but specified vegan. Again, his meal arrived with the mayonnaise-based slaw. Mayonnaise is made with egg which is not vegan.
