Really comfy beds. Great view of the church at the back. Liked the stylish gothic theme. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent full English in the restaurant.
Bathroom needed some TLC. Parking not easy in East Grinstead (obviously the property has no control over that). Would have liked a B+B option so breakfast included in price. No lit mirror for applying makeup (very minor point!)

The hotel itself looked lovely. It’s an old property, so the decor is in keeping with an older house. The rooms were adequate, although could do we a bit of tlc, door to the bathroom creaked.
I went to have a cup of tea but the cups were very stained, which put me off having a cup. I’m assuming that the water from
The taps in the bathroom is drinkable, but maybe some signs to confirm this.

bed was very noisy and wobbly.
Needs attention/repair
Bathroom ventilation failed - mouldy ceiling and paint peeling - clear damp/humidity issue. I am sure fixing the fans and lights would greatly improve.
